The installation of wood burning and multi fuel appliances is subject to building control. The advisory body approved by the Government is Hetas. To ensure that your installation is safe and compliant, contact us and we will ensure that you get the right stove fitted in accordance with current regulations and guidelines.
Before you undertake to install your stove it is advisable to seek consultation from a registered Hetas Fitter. The Installer will be able to ascertain what type of system may be required and whether any remedial, structural or cosmetic work is necessary. The Fitter will be able to guide you in your decision making, advising on what type and size of stove would be most suitable for your needs.

Our Process
- Site Inspection – A registered Installer will undertake a no fee, no obligation site visit to determine the type of installation required, the most suitable stove type for the situation and cost. There is much to consider such as; are you in a smokeless zone and do you need a DEFRA approved model, is there an adequate chimney in place, does it need sweeping or lining, perhaps you have no chimney and require a Twin Wall System, is there an air brick into the room? Our fitters will contact you and arrange a visit to suit you, often fitting in around your working hours.
- Choosing your Stove – Have you considered a multi fuel or wood burning model, what output is correct for the size of the room, do you prefer a model with a log store or on a pedestal, single door, double door, or even, double sided? We have over 50 stoves on display including some live models. Feel free to visit our showrooms at any stage in the process.
- Fitting & Installation – Our fitters will arrange a mutually agreed time and date to install. Because we manufacture, here, on site, we are able to work closely with the fitters to ensure that they have everything they need for the installation. You will be issued with a certificate of compliance.
